Here is our why...

In loving memory of Arrijana Cymone Hill, the ACH Rainbow Foundation was established to honor her life and legacy. Arrijana, tragically taken from this world by Teen Dating Violence on March 21, 2014, was the cherished daughter born to David and Opal Hill on June 18, 1997, nestled between two adoring brothers.

The shock waves of Arrijana's untimely passing reverberated throughout the community of Pearland, the state of Texas, and indeed, the entire world. In the aftermath of this devastating loss, Opal, guided by a divine whisper from above, heard the call to raise her voice amidst the chaos.

Thus, ACH was born—first on paper, then in small gatherings—as a testament to Arrijana's spirit and the deeper purpose that emerged from her tragedy. Starting with humble beginnings, Opal embarked on a journey of speaking engagements and empowering young minds, offering monetary scholarships to deserving high school seniors—an initiative that has grown to $5000 and beyond.

Today, the voice of ACH resonates stronger, supported by a network of steadfast allies and followers. The foundation now spearheads humanitarian efforts, engaging with teen groups locally and across the Houston Metro areas. Opal's warmth and love, carried in the name of Arrijana, create a profound bond with pre-teens, teens, and young adults, affectionately welcomed into the ACH family as "daughters" and "sons."

As ACH continues to gain momentum, collaborations with major sponsors and organizations supporting women and children are underway. While still in the early planning stages, future projects promise to further solidify and expand the foundation's reach for years to come.

In the ongoing journey to honor Arrijana's legacy, the ACH Rainbow Foundation remains committed to embodying her spirit of generosity and compassion. Stay tuned, for there is more greatness yet to unfold as Arrijana's light shines brightly through the work of ACH, touching lives and hearts with love and hope.

OUR CHARITABLE WORK

We're dedicated to supporting teen and young adult mothers as they strive for a successful future while navigating the challenges of young motherhood. Founded by Opal Hill, our mission is to provide resources, assistance, and advocacy to empower young mothers and their children to thrive.

Our journey began with a focus on scholarship opportunities for high school seniors until 2022. However, in late 2022, we expanded our vision to support the women and children in our community on a broader scale. Since then, we've been actively involved in initiatives aimed at uplifting and empowering teen and young adult mothers.

In July 2022, we hosted our first clothing and toiletry drive for a local women's center in Houston. Building on this momentum, in March 2024, we organized our inaugural Teen Dating Violence event, raising awareness and offering support to those affected by this critical issue.

Looking ahead, we have exciting plans for the future. This fall, we're gearing up to make our first financial donation to the PISD PACE Center's Teen Moms Program and hosting our inaugural Walk/Run event, "Lapse for Love," in honor of Jana, a major fundraiser to further our mission.

Additionally, we're committed to ongoing initiatives, including our Fall Socks, Undies, and Pajama drive for Isaiah 1:17 House, and an upcoming Awareness Event in Spring 2025. We're also actively exploring partnerships with colleges to offer scholarships through their Financial Aid Programs, extending our reach and impact.

At ACH Rainbow Foundation, we understand the profound impact of teen dating violence and the grief of losing a child to such tragedy. That's why we're dedicated to creating support systems for parents who have endured this unimaginable loss.

Join us as we continue to make a difference in the lives of young mothers and their families, providing hope, resources, and a brighter future for generations to come. Together, we can create positive change and build a community where every young mother has the opportunity to thrive.
